Tsavo + Amboseli Safari
This is a 3-day, 2-night guided safari starting from the Kenya Coast (Mombasa area) and ending in Nairobi. It visits Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks. Travel is in a 4×4 Jeep, and the package includes all meals and park accommodation.
Day 1: Tsavo West
- Start: Early morning pickup from your beach resort or hotel.
- Travel: 5-hour drive from the coast to Tsavo West.
- Activities: Game drives in Tsavo West, focusing on the Big Five. A key visit to the park’s Rhino Sanctuary to see endangered black rhinos.
- Accommodation: Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Tsavo West.
Day 2: Tsavo West to Amboseli
- Morning: An early game drive, followed by a visit to the lush Mzima Springs oasis to see hippos and crocodiles.
- Travel: 3-hour drive to Amboseli National Park.
- Activities: Afternoon game drives in Amboseli, famous for its guaranteed elephant sightings and the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
- Highlight: The potential for a clear view of Kilimanjaro’s summit at sunset.
- Accommodation: Overnight in Amboseli.
Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi
- Morning: A final early morning game drive for potential views of Kilimanjaro and Amboseli’s wildlife.
- Travel: Depart for Nairobi after a mid-morning game drive and lunch.
- End: Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel, residence, or the airport.
